Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“Only had these boots for a short time but feel absolutely lovely on and great quality too. Have tried many other makes over the years to walk dog but these are a another level of comfort. The rubber itself is really soft so guessing you get what you pay for. Let’s hope they stand the test of time. Would recommend!”

“The boot constantly bends as you walk digging into my legs at the back, I’ve never had that happen in any previous boots, I would think that’s the first place the rubber will deteriorate. The boots squeak constantly as you walk, so much so I’ve stopped wearing at night when I’m out foxing. No matter which socks I wear with the boots they constantly pull my sock down. I wear wellingtons every day as a dog trainer and for shooting and these are as poor a pair as I’ve had.”
