“Three weeks ago, fed up with Gortex lined walking boots that prove to be anything but waterproof, I bought a pair of Vierzonord neoprine lined boots and due to the wet weather have worn them every day since, walking my dog between 6 and 10 miles each day. Even after a long countryside hike the boots are comfortable. The adjustable gusset means the top of the boots don't 'flap around' when walking which is something I find really annoying on regular wellies, and the gusset also stops rain from getting inside the boots. I bought my regular size (11) and found there was plenty of room for a thick pair of socks.”
