Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“My wellies are excellent - comfortable and practical. Unfortunately, the loop of rubber holding the plastic 'tightener' is starting to break. It'll probably break completely in the next few days, which will spoil my boots.”
