Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“Unfortunately, they didn’t fit me so I couldn’t try them on. When buying online, the only size was UK. I am not from here so I checked online and all of the conversion chart mention a 37 EU for a 4 UK. When I received the confirmation, I saw you convert a 4 to a 36 EU. It’s a pity you don’t provide all international sizes during the buying process. Now hoping to exchange for the right size.”

“The first time I put on my boots and walked 3 miles, in fear I would have sore feet, I was amazed that not only did my feet feel great, but they were dry and comfortable and warm. Now that I have broken in my boots, I can say I'm still over the moon with their comfort and warmth. I know these boots will last the rest of my life, they are surely wonderful!!! Such a great investment and so pleased I just might get another pair!”

“10 years ago I bought my first pair of Le Chameau Jameson GTX boots. They have been THE best boots ever, but now need replacing. I wish I'd bought two pairs 10 years ago, as the latest Jameson don't have the useful side zip and are pull on instead. As a result the top of the boots leave a large gap that hits the back of your leg each time you walk. I don't like the new sole either. The original ones were stitched. Finally, they took ages to arrive as Parcel Force don't seem to appreciate that people work during the day and after several attempts of delivery, days later left £300 worth of boots with a complete stranger in the village, despite Le Chameau's statement that they "will need to be signed for AT THE PLACE OF DELIVERY"!! VERY disappointed by the whole purchase.”
