Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“These are lovely boots, but although a slimmed down calf is mentioned, these are still too wide for me at the top - and I'd say my calves are about average circumference. Going back, I'm afraid...”

“I take a 3.5 shoe and the size 4 recommended is a perfect fit. They are very comfortable and so far no problems with water, great choice, would recommend. Also fast delivery.”
