Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“Comfortable, warm and I hope, hard wearing. Great to wear with a dress skirt or trousers. Fantastic for walking in the countryside or in a town! Great all rounder and a fantastic investment for your wardrobe. I have no regrets! Bring on the snow, I’m sure my Mitchelin soles will keep my dry and safe.”

“Bought size 6 even though I knew deep down I'm a size 5. Thick socks shall do the trick. I'm very pleased with my purchased. Rainy days just put on Le Chemeau wellies.”
