I've tried this in a Victoria Sponge, instead of castor sugar and it gave it a wonderfully delicious and rich flavour, as well as an attractive golden colour! It's also great to mix with water for those recipes that need a liquid sweetener. Petrina

We always say 'everything in moderation' and it's good to know that when we want to use sugar, this is a natural alternative to refined sugar and that, despite its name, it doesn't taste of coconut! Petrina

“Not much to say other than it’s found a firm place in my cupboard. I’m never going back to brown sugar having tried this LB coconut sugar. It’s got a warm, rich caramel taste but not sickly sweet and definitely doesn’t taste of coconut which makes it great to use in drinks and food. I haven’t baked with it yet but intend too!”
