“Customer service was great. I wanted to love the bed but it left me feeling bruised and caused my arms fall asleep. I tried the plush topper through the exchange and it felt like I sunk right through to the harder layers and was more painful than the medium. Unfortunately I want to return it but don't feel like I should do it during the peak of the pandemic so I'm waiting till later in the return time period.”

“This bed is the perfect amount of support and softness. I was having trouble with another mattress being too firm for my hips which featured zoned support, as such, this mattress was recommended. We went with the 3" natural dunlop topper in soft. We are both sleeping like logs! I like that I can always switch out the topper if we ever wanted to go softer or firmer, but at this time, we are sleeping great and are not waking up stiff.”

“So far the mattress has been great. We previously purchased a mattress from a different company, but it made my back pain worse. We decided to go with the Luma Natural Latex Hybrid Mattress and it is has been great, and at half the cost of the mattress from the other company. My back pain has improved and I am sleeping better.”

“The bed is incredibly comfortable, but the bed does not look nearly as nice and it has some functional drawbacks. The included mattress toppers are noticeably larger than the mattress so you sorta fall of the edge. After contacting Luma, the told me to try to pull the mattress wider... needless to say that didn't work.”

“This mattress is super comfy. My only quibble is the top layer slides around and moves a lot for me and my wife, so we find ourselves adjusting it often.”

“We bought 2 twin XL Mattresses for our split king adjustable base. I like that we were able to customize the firmness for each side. However, the mattress topper would slide off the mattress every time we used the adjustable base, until it was several inches off of the bottom of the bed. We contacted Luma and they were very nice and explained why this is happening, and offered some solutions. Ultimately, for this price point, I wanted it to work without some temporary fixes. I would recommend the mattress if you are not using an adjustable base!”

“We like the Luma - we have the Natural Latex Hybrid Mattress with the Talaylay topper in Medium. It was the second try after getting another bed-in-a-box that I really liked but my husband found too uncomfortable and firm. (He's a stomach sleeper and I'm a toss-and-turner). This one is REALLY soft to us. It kinda feels like a cloud when you climb in. I've slept great, but he's now feeling like it's a bit too soft. We called to get a firmer topper and couldn't be happier with the customer service we got - even over the holidays. Not sure how the new one will be - it hasn't arrived yet. Really, my only complaint so far has been the smell. Our prior try off-gassed really quickly, but there seems to be a lingering smell with this mattress. Not sure if I'm just more sensitive to the latex smell and it's something to get used to or if I should expect it to get better with time.”
