“I'm writing this review in mid-2023, after being a pre-order customer in the US in early 2022. I've use this vacuum for over a year, every day, and really wanted to write a raving review. Unfortunately, within just this short span of time, my vacuum has gotten progressively worse at picking up dirt/hair/crumbs, and I've experienced so much clogging and inefficiency. My biggest gripe is the ease with which hair will get caught in the tiny front wheels on the vacuum head, making it near impossible to remove, and forcing me to use 2x the energy to push it as the only 3 of the 4 wheels are functioning. I would like to acknowledge that I genuinely appreciate the efforts the company are making towards sustainability and love their core values. I just wish I could love the vacuum the same.”
“We've had our Lupe for approximately 7 months. It is lightweight and convenient to port around, however, the pros stop there. Here are our cons:
The front, smooth roller catches fur and dust between it and the body of the machine. This must be manually pinched to remove and dispose of.
The hard floor function does not clean effectively; it pushes fur around the floor instead of suctioning it up - this makes it a really expensive broom.
The carpet function bounces along as it goes, which negates the roller bar, and skips surfaces. We have to brush across the same section of floor several times in order to clean the whole surface. This may be a side-effect of its lightweightedness, but does have us questioning the suction – if it were suctioned to the carpet, it would not bounce around. If we use the “+” feature it seems to be better but this drains the battery exponentially quickly. In this case, we have to choose to do carpets or hard floors, because there is not enough battery for both when using the "+" feature.
And lastly, my least favorite feature is the hose. I am 5'3" (read: I am short) and even with flipping around the handle and adding the extra tool to the end, I have to stoop over to clean my floor (which is a bummer because the hose does actually suction up fur and dust, but it causes a back ache to use this way). Further, if I try to use the hose with the machine sitting on the floor, the reach is so short that I am constantly tipping over the machine just trying to vacuum couch cushions.
I am very disappointed with this product and will not recommend it.”
“Ok so I have a weird house. Old cottage with old slate floor that has gigantic crevices. Carpets over solid wood floors and a converted shed with laminate floors. Spiders, dust and all manner of above-floor cleaning are needed regularly and the cottage is so small that moving around a big vacuum has been a nightmare. I finally got my Pure. Honestly, I opted for it because sustainability is very important to me and I wanted an appliance that can be fixed and will remain for a long time. The reviews were good so here I am. It is AMAZING. Handled every surface perfectly. The battery lasted for the whole clean. And once the device did it all. Compact, easy, powerful, and sustainable. Well done this is an engineering triumph.”

“Easy to assemble, very cool looking vacuum. Excellent suction and very easy to empty. I like that the filter is washable. It does have some heft to it and feels substantial, although not heavy in my hand. Goes virtually flat to get under the bed and the head is nice and compact to fit small spaces (I vacuum next to the toilet and it fits). Love that I can buy extra parts. Love that it goes from hard wood to carpet without any problem. The only issue I have is that only one side fits under my kitchen cabinets to get into the toe kick space so I go around the perimeter of the kitchen one way only. Not a huge deal but it can’t go under cabinets head on.”
