“Since going blond from my natural ash brown, I have had trouble growing out my hair and so was looking for an option to gain not only some volume (I have quite bit of hair) but more importantly - length! I did my research, probably more than was needed, and looked into Luxy extensively both on their website, 3rd party reviews and also on social media.
Let me just say that they didn't disappoint! I received excellent service from start to finish. They helped me color match, since my hair is fairly two-toned, assisting me every step of the way. Their video tutorials are SUPER helpful for a girl who is not super hair savvy and is truly a tomboy at heart.
The quality is above and beyond what I expected, the color and texture blended seamlessly with my blown out hair and they held curls perfectly and didn't slip even once when I was wearing them for 10+ hours! No one I came into contact had even a clue that I was wearing extensions until I told them, and even then they had a hard time believing it!
If the team at Luxy can make a tomboy like me feel glamorous and knowledgeable when it comes to hair extensions (they are ridiculously easy and quick to put in), then the sky is the limit with what they can accomplish.

“I am so happy with my Lucy extensions! I've been wanting extensions just for fun/to dress up for a while and I did quite a bit of research before buying. I was not disappointed! I am a natural blonde, kind of ashy and darker underneath. I use Aveda's Shades Of Enlightenment to color my hair. I went with Dirty Blonde and the match is extremely close. More gold toned than my own hair, which is fine! It blends well with my uncolored hair underneath. The clips are great, the length is great, but I do wish there was more hair on the 3 & 4 clip extensions. Each one seemed somewhat thin to me but, it is enough. Once they're all in they look fantastic. I've started to experiment with pony tails as well! I have natural curly/wavy hair so I can only wear them when I've straightened my hair. Overall I'm very happy and would recommend them to a friend. I might buy a bleach blonde set and color them a pastel purple or pink! I work in an office so I can't do anything permanent but I think it would be fun to make my own clip ins! Thank you!!!”

To kindly let you know, if you feel that this shade is slightly too golden for your hair, you are more than welcome to have the extensions toned by a professional hair colourist to give them a slightly more ashy look.
Also, since Luxy Hair extensions are made with 100% remy human hair, they can be curled or styled to match your own hair's texture, so you can even wear them when your hair is curly! Just be sure to set your hot tools to a maximum of 250F to reduce damage on the hair.
Lhea, our 160g set is specifically designed for those with an average thickness hair type, and comes with slightly less hair on each weft than our 220g set. Next time, I recommend to opt for our 220g to ensure that there is enough hair on each weft as you'd like.
