“I have Purchase my first halo hair extensions from Luxy. I want to say I was thrilled . They are gorgeous and blended with my hair so well. They felt so light on my head compare to clip in extensions. Only thing I am always so self aware of is the halo clear band on top of my head showing . My hair is dark and it’s noticeable . “I've had so many extensions over the years, different brands + styles. I tried Luxy because they kept popping up and I wanted to give halos another try. So here's a very honest review:
The quality and thickness of the hair is top notch. I just made a second purchase (this time clip ins) because I was really happy with the way the hair looks and feels. I've also heat styled regularly and washed them several times and the hair is still great.
I've realized halos just aren't for me, I feel like no matter what size band I use they're either too loose or too tight on my scalp, but that has nothing to do with Luxy. In fact compared to the last halo I bought these straps are way more comfortable and the halo came with several sizes so you have options; so if you like halos you'll probably love these ones.
The only downside I found was the clips did come unsewn pretty fast. I was able to fix them pretty easily, and it may have been from washing them and allowing the heavy wet hair to hang vertically putting too much weight on the clips. It didn't bother me enough to not repurchase from them though - so I'm hoping the clip in set won't do the same! I'll be sure to update.
Overall, would definitely recommend for quality over other sets I've purchased!”
