“I absolutely LOVE the color match on these babies. I brought mine into my stylist and she low lighted my already lightened hair to match the extensions with just one color. The multi-dimensional coloring of the wefts is truly gorgeous and matches a range of colors.
My gripe about these extensions is that they have a very noticeable, plasticky oder to them. I'm not sure if this was just the set that I received or not, but they also don't seem to hold a curl as well as everyone claims they do. Mine will hold for about an hour and then fall limp. Noticing this, and the horrible oder, I decided to trim more layers into them, in hopes that it was the thickness of the hair that was causing the curl to fall out. This didn't help, so I decided to wash them with a clarifying shampoo instead of a color safe shampoo, in hopes of stripping whatever coating may have been left on the extensions. Still didn't quite work. I have washed them twice since owning them, and each time I have noticed the same strong oder still in the hair, just masked a bit from the conditioner I used.
Regardless, I'd say they are a great set of extensions, but the oder and lack of curl are a bit disappointing. I'm sure that over time, the oder will come out and hopefully the lack of curl is form any residue coating left on the strands.”

I'm happy to hear that overall you are very pleased with your purchase and that you enjoy the multi-tone colour adapting system. The Dirty Blonde is one of our most popular shades and we do get that feedback quite often and how it matches so many different shades of medium blonde.
In terms of the odor, it is common for hair extensions to have this smell as they are chemically processed. I've been dealing with hair extensions for 15 years and have become very familiar with this smell. It does fade over time with washing and wear.
In regards to curling the extensions, using a professional grade curling iron is recommended. Then to make the curl last longer, I suggest to pin the curl to your head after it is released from the barrel of the curling iron to allow it to cool for 10-15 minutes. At this time, you can give it a light spray with hairspray and release the curls for styling. This should help if they are being stubborn in holding a curl. Please try this and let me know how it goes.
