“This is my first set of Luxy hair extensions. After thousands of dollars were wasted on other popular brands only for them to go into the garbage a couple months later, I asked around and was recommended to try these based off what my friends said about the longevity. I have been using hair extensions of many kinds for 15 years now and have bounced around brands as the quality of them would slowly diminish over time. My first impression of Luxy is that they are a great soft texture! The clips are also very very comfortable and I like how they are sewn together at the top. I prefer classic wefts over seamless wefts because I feel that the classic sewn wefts protect the elasticity of the hair when brushing. Bonded wefts may not shed much but the hair breaks in the middle while brushing causing knots. Once I clipped them all in to custom cut to my hair, I noticed they were thick at the top-middle and thinned out a lot in the middle-ends. I think this is great for folks who buy clip ins and don't want to trim or custom layer much. For me, this was a little bit of a bummer and why I rate 4 instead of 5. They took to my toner bath quite nicely though and toned evenly which you don't see a lot. I also LOVED the free gifts included in my purchase. I got cute scrunchies and a claw clip. I also was surprised at how much I loved the hair bush. I would recommend buying. The loop bristles are nice and bendy and don't rip through knots. I have nice brushes at home but they do seem to be hard on extensions at times. I will be using the brush on my own hair as well (: I'm excited to see how long these last, I'll come back for a review on that later, hopefully much later than sooner (;”

“My initial reaction was they are amazing, but after about a week of wearing them they started to get really tangly so easily. I didn’t wash them or put any products in them. I’ve been wearing extensions for 10 years and know how to take care of them but there’s not much you can do to prevent the tangling. If I wear them now I have to brush them every 5 minutes or they look like a rats nest. Really disappointed considering the money I paid for them.”
