“I bought this kit after apple refused service, even paid service, due to the fact they thought I'd spilt coffee on the logic board and didn't want to risk damaging the macbook any further. So I save myself money and bought this kit and DIY myself. Follow the video instruction video online slowly. Watch it first then watch it a second time. I kept all the screws and parts in small containers with the names on them. Removing the logic board means less risk to damage it. Also note there are some slight differences between the model in the video and my mid 2014 rMBP 15". Just minor ones like no screw covers for cables, but was easy enough to follow and adjust. If you've never replaced a hard drive or memory in a PC before, then I wouldn't recommend DIY, find someone with some experience to help.”
