“I wanted to upgrade my 2011 27 inch iMac as it was running super slow due to age, software upgrades etc. Bought RAM, SSD hard drive, and install kit. All arrive within days of ordering, followed the online videos to do upgrade ( which are great). Booted up my iMac and it loaded within 20 seconds just like it did from new, opening apps is instant. Couldn’t be happier, $550 upgraded saved $1000’s compared to buying new iMac or iMac mini. It’s like having a new iMac again!!!”

“I bought this SSD as an alternative to the internal HDD in my Late 2013 iMac 27” which was becoming increasingly slow and perhaps indicative of impending failure. The SSD is far quicker, silent, and doing a great job even though it is just running through USB in an enclosure as I haven’t got around to installing it in the iMac (a reportedly tricky process that needs special tools). It means I can keep using this iMac for at least another year, avoiding spending $3500 on a replacement. When I do replace my iMac, I’ll use the SSD as its TimeMachine backup drive.”
