“My main Mac is a late 2011 MacBook Pro with a 15" screen connected to a Thunderbolt display, running OSX 10.7.5 and it was starting to really slow down. “I love my new ssd, but a word of warning that it doesn't come preformatted which meant the drive wouldn't show up in disc utility or start up disc. Went through a lot of trouble refitting the connections (broke the IR connector on the last one) and even bought a new SATA cable only to find out when i took it to be tested. D'oh! But works fine now and loving it!”
