“The beef was tender with an overabundance of gravy (and pearl onions). Taste was a little odd, perhaps due to the ginger snaps and molasses in the ingredients, but it had flavor. The package leaked as it was thawing in the fridge. Discovered a hole in the plastic. This problem also happened with the Lamb Stew. So there appears to be a problem with the packaging. Too bad there’s no way to upload the photos from an iPad. Am unlikely to order again from this company.”
“This is a hearty beef dish with a rich flavorful sauce (and plenty of it). If sliced thinly, it is tender. It makes good use of traditional German spices. Reminds me of meine grossmuter.”
