“Hubby & I had this on the first night of the New Year. I defrosted in fridge overnight and followed easy directions. One shank was plenty to split. There was enough gravy as well. Served with mashed potatoes. The flavor was rich and complex and the meat was VERY tender. We look forward to the other shank! Will definitely get this again.”
“My brother who I gave the shanks to as a gift, said that the instructions were vague. I thought they would be cooked right in the bag, but he said that he was required to take them out and bake in a dish. Cook time was not enough and they were cold in the center, requiring more cooking time. Once hot enough, he stated that the shank did not have much meat on it. As he was sharing with his wife, the dinner was not what he imagined it would be....better to have done both of them...”
