“This is a good product. I am the sort of individual who has always believed in improvement and that a process of vicissitude is important. If everyone gave every product 5 stars, why would any manufacturer want to invest in and improve a product? The unit I purchased did not come with the colour-coded combs. They were all just black plastic and metal. Secondly, the machine vibrates the hand more than I expected from a professional product. That is my main constructive criticism. It removed the coat from a shaggy, wire-haired Airdale without any particular grumbles. Just oil the blades and keep them cool. I use a saucer from the kitchen with cold water in it. I rest the blades in this to pull the heat out. Oh my god, I am such a muppet. Don't tell health and safety, or I will end up in a panopticon of traffic cones and an orange safety vest while donning a dunce hat. It's physics, and it works. I have not even electrocuted myself while listening to the toaster in the bath, so no complaints can be expressed. It's good, purchase it.”

“I've only ever used amateur clippers with previous dogs, but these are a game changerour rescue! I've a very neurotic spaniel who's life before us wasn't very good so grooming causes her a lot of stress, but reocuring pyoderma means she needs to be kept short. With these clippers I've been able to reduce the time and stress grooming causes. They run quieter than the "quiet" set I had before, and work quicker. The blade gets reather hot after about 10 mins (which on reflection is to be expected due to friction) so I've invested in spray and a second blade so going forward hopefully will be able to get it all done in one go.”
