Have only played this game solo so far (including the solo campaign included for free on the Czech Games website) but it is already near the top of my favorite games list and can't wait to get it to the table with friends. Very easy to learn the rules. Good deck building and worker placement mechanics, there are always more actions available to you than you initially think. Set up and clean up are a bit rough, there is absolutely no inherent organization system aside from a bunch of plastic baggies; it's generally no fun to spend money on a box organizer but for this game it may just be necessary.

… is better than master of one. Lost Ruins of Arnak uses several game mechanics without focusing on a single one, meaning there are multiple paths to victory. Certain elements of the game reminded me of Architects of the West Kingdom and Terraforming Mars. The theme is very immersive as well. The table presence is HUGE, which can make it harder to get to the table, but doesn’t affect gameplay for me.

Very balanced game, quick to learn and play. Play serpent side for the best experience.

Do you remember wanting to be Indiana Jones? before some Grinch who hates children having dreams told you that archaeology nothing like what Indiana Jones made it out to be? Then, this game restores your childhood. It’s pure adventure fun. Yes you can get a whip! Yes you can get a fedora! The art’s beautiful! The components are quality! Sure, there’s no insert but get that later. Get the game now and live your childhood dreams of what you thought it would be like to be an archaeologist.

I played this with my brother and after our first game, he looked up and said we need to play that again. It is a deck-building worker placement game that just works.

If you like Indiana Jones, then this is a good one. The components and artwork are great. It's definitely fun and many people like the solo aspect of it. Personally I prefer to play with other humans, so I don't play the solo mode much.

Lost Ruins of Arnak is a really fun game. I enjoy exploring, researching, and killing those monsters! It's not overly complicated even though it has a huge board so it is very easy to teach. I've done a lot of solo games and it's pretty good. The AI deck on easy gives me some close games, I don't know how to beat the red deck yet. I can't wait to get the expansion for this game.

one of the good games that I ever played, the mechanic of deck building plus the track of research make a good combination in this game, it's good played in solo mode as multiplayer. I recommend this game :)
