Fantastic game, mechanics, components and overall gameplay. It was an instant hit with my family.

My wife and I both really enjoy this game and the mix of worker placement and tableau building. It's easy to learn and to teach and the teens enjoy it as well, so it makes for a great family game. It is paced really well to boot. It forces you to make tough but logical decisions on whether to buy cards, explore, etc. that are really fun. The artwork is amazing. Playing a game with components that are as solid as these are make the entire gaming experience better. Our only complaint is that it can start to seem the same after repeated plays. There aren't that many Guardians or sites to explore over multiple plays so you get used to them and they aren't as exciting to reveal. We are really hoping for an expansion that will add variety to the game. In addition, the flip side of the gaming board where you have to go rescue workers from the temple just really wasn't all that much fun. We've only played with that side of the board once. We much prefer the base game. Despite those minor quibbles, we think this game rocks and we'll be going back to the jungle as often as we can.

Another soulless euro with a pasted on theme. I never felt that I was adventuring and the stew of mechanisms have been done better elsewhere.

Love it! Tons of replay-ability and the components are basically upgraded already! Can't recommend this enough and the solo mode is pretty good too.

Great mix of deckbuilding and worker placement. Less confrontational than Dune Imperium if you prefer more Euro style conflict.
