Ahead of a scheduled number port, I contacted them to request a simple technical change from eSIM to physical SIM, as my wife’s phone does not support eSIM. This was not a contract change or cancellation.
Customer service repeatedly refused to engage, despite my wife being present and despite explaining that she has a medical condition affecting her ability to communicate by phone. Calls were cut off mid-conversation, escalation callbacks were promised but never happened, and no practical solution was offered.
When we later attended a Vodafone store, the advisor immediately warned us about mobiles.co.uk and confirmed that the porting date set by them was incorrect and should never have been allowed. We were told this happens frequently and that mobiles.co.uk focuses on selling without managing the consequences.
The contrast between Vodafone’s professionalism and mobiles.co.uk’s handling was stark. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend mobiles.co.uk.”
