“Had to chase multiple times before being told Vodafone were waiting on an EID number. I provided this via live chat as requested, only to chase again and then be asked for the same EID number by email. After further chasing, I was asked to send a large amount of information by email due to data protection requirements. I then had to chase repeatedly and provide the same information again because, for some reason, the previous agent had removed our email history.
Eventually, I was told I needed to contact Vodafone because the credit check had lapsed, or something to that effect. Vodafone then told me that because of this lapse, I would have to place a new order directly with them, meaning I would no longer be eligible for the Mobiles.co.uk cashback. I asked Mobiles.co.uk to cancel the order, but they said Vodafone would need to do this. Vodafone then told me there was no order to cancel because the credit check had expired.
I wasted hours on live chat, email and phone calls, only to end up three weeks after ordering with nothing.
Absolute shambles. I asked for information about their complaints process and have not received a response to that either.
