I used this for about 22 hours on a pretty heavy day, and it didn’t leak! It works great.

I bought these for my wife who is going through menopause. Her periods are so bad now that she practically needs a blood transfusion one a month. She has some of the moderate/heavy panties, but lhe maxi are much better at preventing an uncontained failure.

My first pair of modibodi undies did not work out quite like I hoped. Although, now I know why. I was too scared to get them wet when I first got my pair, so they leaked all over and did not feel comfortable at all. I tried different brands and it helped build some confidence and then I tried them again. They worked great! Now fast forward to now and I’ve purchased the modibodi maxi bikini and I used them during my heaviest night (no pads or tampons or cups) OMG! These are freaking amazing. They are the most comfortable and absorbent pair of period/absorbing undies I will ever own. I plan (when I have the extra money) to get at least 2 more pairs. But now I also want to try more styles from modibodi. Also, these maxi undies held in 12 hours of my heaviest period days with no problem. They honestly could have been worn for another 12 hours no problem. I have had the hardest time with my heavy period days and this is finally the fix. Unfortunately, I can’t wait for my period again just so I can wear them again!

I've gone back-and-forth for a long time about taking the leap for period underwear. I can't wear menstrual cups, discs, or tampons for various reasons, so all I've ever been able to wear are pads. Besides them being terrible for the environment, I've also developed RA, so if I'm in a flare it can be difficult to adhere or remove a pad (and wings are non negotiable). Reusable pads are even harder to put on. Up front cost had me concerned, especially if these didn't work, but I finally decided to try it and our based one pair. One period, and I immediately purchased 3 more pairs in different styles. Now that I've had a period having enough for my entire cycle, I'm not exaggerating when I say I cried. I cried because I have painful periods and everything is uncomfortable, and now mobility issues and this was the most easy and comfortable period I've had in the 24 years since I started.
