“I can't recommend these underwear enough! My cycle is always really heavy (though thankfully on the shorter side at 4 days), and I have always struggled against going through my supplies. Pads last me a few hours, and while the Overnight Modibodi underwear was the best option I had for a long while - lasting me six to eight hours on average - I consistently stressed while I was at work or out with friends and family, and they had the unfortunate habit of leaking out the front.
Modibodi Max last me eight hours on my heaviest days, minimum. I can go out without worry, and sleep soundly through the night without checking my sheets in the morning. I love that they have full coverage, front and back, so they don't leak. Even when there's some colour evident underneath and along the edges after wear, it doesn't transfer over to my clothes, and washes right out. (Plus, they come in fun colours that give me a little pick me up.)
The only downside is that they take ages to dry. With my old Overnight pairs I noticed that being impatient and throwing them in the dryer caused the band to separate from the fabric and the whole of it to shrink, so I only air dry these and I haven't seen any sign of wear. Thankfully, I saved up and invested in getting two sets of the five packs, and ten pairs of Modibodi Max see me through my cycle.
All in all, if you have a heavy cycle, these are a must!
P.S. When washing, I definitely recommend getting them wet before throwing them in the washer, especially if you have a high efficiency machine that doesn't use much water (they'll absorb all the wash water otherwise). If you put them in a delicate bag, it makes it much easier to separate them from the rest of the load and save them from the dryer; especially if someone else is transferring them over!”
