“I love all my new modibodi undies. the fit is great, they work well without being bulky and I like the material that is against my skin. They also have great customer service. When my original order came in the package was ripped, re-taped and missing 3 items- they quickly sent me replacements. I am very happy with this company and it's products”
“The underwear didn't leak through like some other period underwear I have had. The padded part going all the way up to either side also solved my problem of pads not going up high enough.”
“I have extremely heavy periods and was sure there couldn't be a period panty for periods like mine. Well I was wrong! I purchased my first ModiBodi in November 2021 and have now went through 3 periods without using a SINGLE pad or tampon! I still can't believe it. These really do work.”
“I LOVE the color and the practicality. At first impression, they are bright and feel like a diaper. In use, they are still bright and beautiful. As for the feel when on, I feel secure.”
“These are by far the best pair that I have tried from the period underwear line. I wore these on a very heavy flow day for my 8 hour day at work. I didn’t feel like I was soaking through. There was barely any smell and the best is I didn’t feel like I was wearing a diaper. Only thing I recommend is if you bloat really bad during your cycle to size up. I bought a large but with this style I will get an XL next time.”
“Honestly, This is exactly what I thought it'd be. I wasn't looking for something that would last me 24hrs, I was actually looking for something that would do for the back overnight. I know that this is good for most women, I knew it wouldn't suit me for a "day's use". We've all got a different flow, so this is for the perspective of the heavily flow, even if it's just for one day. For reference(without backups), it lasted for about 4 hours where it was visible through, and I'd say 5 hours before it started to leak. If you have a heavy flow, I strongly suggest using them as I did as an overflow solution. I have been using washable pads for a while now, and I won't look back here until there is a more viable solution. The advantage being that you can change them. I highly suggest for anyone with a heavy flow, then using something like this as a back-up. You still need to change them just as often, but you will have the backing of something like this to support you when you need it.
The real advantage is that when you sleep, you're not going to leak. I have been looking for something with a gusset from the top to the bottom for a while now, in this respect, you are never going to find this product anywhere else. And with all of the extra precautions that I know you guys are doing, this will just be that last bit that some of us need to not wake up and have to change your sheets every night.
I will also say that I tried both this and the recycled high waist fabric. They both look like industrial underwear and not that seamless look, but if you're bothering to look at these at all, then you're used to a bulky look anyhow.
This one is not necessarily more comfortable. It might be different for everyone, I wish this came in the recycled material. I like a different fit for different days, like high waisted for days 1-3(when you need that extra tummy support) lower waisted for all the rest of the days. This was great for the lower days, but I would have preferred the other recycled material as an option. For me, the cotton is definitely a waste as a breathable material when you have so many layers that are already dedicated to preventing leaking. They're already stopping the flow. I'm sure there are people who love the cotton(and honestly, if you can actually use this for a whole day, I can see the value), I just preferred the recycled material. Unfortunately, it was only an option for the high waist. Again, loved those just as much, (probably more) but you do want some variety.
One other thing, I have tried a lot of brands, This might just be the case with the 24 hrs and not the rest of the line,(and this is where the star is lost, honestly, I would have done half a star, but that's not an option) but this one does a weird bunch up at the bottom. I have a larger derriere and wanted something that would fit. Size wise, it's perfect(by that I mean, it's what you buy at the stores, and not going to break your head to figure out) and the sides were still tight fitting but like the lower part of your butt(and again, not sure if it's my shape) it's flops around a bit. Basically, for me, I can't wear my entire wardrobe in these. This isn't necessarily a drawback for everything. But if you want that formfitting outfit, then you have to rethink it.
In all, I'd definitely buy it again. They did what I wanted, which was let me sleep a whole night without waking up and changing my sheets and the rest that comes with all of that. But if you are looking for something to wear for a whole day and have a heavy flow, it's still not going to fulfil everything and you're still going to have to keep up your other activities(unless you plan to walk with and change your undies every couple of hours) but this is will definitely work if you don't have to do any of this and just want to have a day where you go out and don't want to change anything and come home and deal with it.
The other thing that I would highly suggest for frequent flyers is to have these as travel undies. This is somewhere that this will shine for everyone. Here, there's no comparison to anything but an adult diaper. Based on the level of protection that you are getting in that anything can happen situation(turbulence, unexpected landings for any reason, medical condition, flying over an active volcano, don't laugh, these things happen) no one else is making any product that comes close to this. The best part being that it's a back-up and washable and reusable. Unless you have higher needs, this will give you that extra feeling of protection.
Pretty sure that's everything.”
“The absorbency, materials, etc are all fine. I’m not a fan of this particular bikini style, which is what I usually wear. It does not have a lot of coverage in the back, it’s narrower than a typical bikini style. I want more coverage for period underwear, not less.”
