“The packaging was not as expected, meaning I thought it would arrive in more than just a gallon plastic bag, but it’s a great product overall. It does take a little time and patience if you’ve never done something like this before, but it was a great bonding project for my son and husband.”
“Instructions are bad, but I can just figure it out, so that's not the problem. It's the PC board itself. It seems to be solder repellent. If I were to bother building this again, I'd use a chemical etcher on the pads to clean them. The usual methods failed (cleaning well / flux). I purchased another kit at the same time -- a clock -- and had zero issues.”
