“This would have been a good thing but my grandson accidentally broke a transistor and they included no extras, so whatever you do, don't make any mistakes!!! You're screwed.”
“It’s great as an introduction but be aware some components are close enough that if you apply too much solder, it may not keep the two components separated.Not included in the kit but get flux works wonders. Also rubbing alcohol 90% is best.If you are doing this for the first time learn how to tin a soldering iron(basic maintenance)Solid product”
“It comes with everything it says it does but it all seems, fairly low quality. The instructions were also not user friendly for someone who is new to soldering. I do not reccomend if you're like me and trying to learn.”
“I really enjoyed assembling it as well as reading all the theory behind the radio. It was exactly what I was looking for as I was more focused in learning than just assembling it and having an FM radio. It works well as this was my first experience with electronics and soldering electronic components onto a board. If you are curious enough, you can really get out more than advertised. Highly recommend for starters and specifically, engineering and science students like me. The customer service is also superb as they answer quickly and will help you if anything goes wrong.”
