“It is just a joy to fly. Plenty of power and very maneuverable. Be careful when setting up your trims. It is very responsive to small changes, especially the elevator. Once you get it set where you want it, it is nothing but fun.”
“This is my first edf and I love it! Easy to build well made and a very easy plane to fly, it's not a burner but flys well at full throttle as well as half. Just a fun plane!Only recommendation is use another glue other than the epoxy supplied and do some reinforcing around air intakes since any hard landings or crashes result in a break.Still looks pretty and flys great without much trim too!Going to buy another for a 4s!! Looking forward to it!”
“Seems to be a really nice aircraft. Assembly was very easy although the nylon connectors to the control horns were difficult to turn as a few needed adjustment. Really need to use a lot of epoxy on the wings to make sure the connection is good and tight, I don't mean so it is leaking out at the seams but make sure everything is given an even layer so the wings are tight. Only complaint is I would like someone in the cockpit flying this plane!!! Every plane should have a pilot!!!! Colors are great, only a few minor dings on some of the foam parts. Really like this airplane”
“I'm new to the hobby, flying for 2 months now. My learning curve because of my passion to learning has improve that I wanted to try my first EDF. To my surprise that with the 1800mah battery and the design of this beautiful plane that it was a dream to fly. The build is average, I wish that carbon brace were put all ready but it's all on the builder. I added some weights in the nose and flew great. I have the throws low for me to learn and keep it in the air, but latter will change as I get better. Would I recommend this to any one. Totally I would... Lots of fun and beautiful in the sky.”
“Had first flight today. Needed very little trim. was happy with speed of plane, only being 64mm fan. looked cool, flew nice, landed easy and smooth. I have landing gear on mine which is real nice.”
“I'm not new to RC flight and have been flying giant scale gasoline Warbirds for quite awhile now, but when I saw this PnP F9F (I'm a scale guy ya know) offered at $104 shipped I just had to pull the trigger and see what it's all about. I bought two at that price. I have flown what I'll call #1 out of the box on my older 2200MAH 3s batts allowing me to place the battery more aft in the tray (I did cut and drop the batt tray board to the floor of the fuse), and have enjoyed the plane on both trips to the club field. I especially (remember reading I'm a giant scale flyer,LOL) like the ease of transporting this little (at 24 wingspan I believe) plane as it would probably fit in the passengers footwell of my Altima (no trailer needed,LOL) I have bought a 12 blade fan and an 80 amp ESC along with some fresh 4s batts for what I'll call #2. You can also fly the stock out of the box on 4s, but I haven't received the 4s batts yet to report my findings. This plane at $104 shipped is just a blast to fly and has both great flight characteristics flat out, and has very good slow flight, soaring, gliding capabilities. It's all about the launch that makes it or breaks it (I myself just bought a Jetapult that does this perfectly every time). Once on step it's a blast. Thanks Motion for this fun, low cost, entry into EDF.”
“If you set it up right I mean the battery is forward to the point were it is just before the servo for the front wheel and make sure the elevator is horizontal perfectly straight up up and away flies so easyIt is not a fast flyer you gain confidence real easyDef first jet and it will b the jet you will want to take up”
“Assembly for a 11ice is not quick...hence only 4 stars...that said, I am a 11ice, so perhaps it would be easier for someone more experienced. Worth noting is to get your glue on fast, the supplied glue gets gummy quick, and once gummy does not adhere well at all. I made is mistake and on my first flight the wing snapped right off. New, fresh glue and it's good to go.PUSH THE BATTERY ALL THE WAY INTO THE NOSEI don't care how your CG seems, if it's not in the nose, regardless of size, you will just fight a climb at all times. Aside from that, and a couple crashes due to that, I am in love with this jet.”
