“I've just completed 23 flights on the Stinger 64, and it is now my solid favorite in my hanger. I cannot get enough of this plane. It does everything you want it to do with no bad tendencies at all.Assembly was straightforward, just as the manual described. Be careful not to over-tighten the screws when putting the wing and tail on! I almost did. Went together in under an hour. Make sure when you glue on the turtle 12k on the spine that you don't glue it to the tail, so you can remove it later if needed.Hand launches are straightforward, but it does go much easier if someone launches for you so you can concentrate on flying it out. Once in the air and trimmed, it flies arrow-straight hands-off. Only took a couple of clicks of right aileron and up elevator and it flew perfectly level at half-throttle. Landings are simple, it can almost glide in. Hold the nose up and it'll settle in for a very pleasing slide-out on grass.Default control throws on my Spektrum DX6i / AR400x receiver were a mixed bag. Too much aileron, not enough elevator. These were both easily adjusted out after the first flight. I recommend a fair amount of expo to dampen any twitchiness.Most aerobatics are available that do not require vectored thrust. I was particularly pleased at how well it'll do a hammerhead turn, considering there's no propwash going over the tail. Inverted flight is good, but constant down elevator is needed to keep it level.Well pleased with this purchase! Highly recommend both the Stinger 64 and MotionRC. “Got this plane today, its my second stinger! Take off is a breeze, landing is fast, but skids on the ground like a dream. Also I put tape on the skid plates so no damage occurs!! “Was actually looking for the FreeWing M-15 which was out of stock at Hobby Lobby when I found some emails talking about Motion RC. I checked the website, and bought not only the MIG-15 I wanted, but this neat little Stinger. Have not flown either yet, still flying my F9F Panther and loving it, but Motion RC is the BEST! “This is a great jet for the money.Flew it 2 times its fantastic. I flew mine with the recommended 1600 battery that Mark (co-owner of motionRC suggested) I hand launched it twice and 2 great flights. Other guys use an 1800 or 2200 but I thought the Cog was perfect at 1600.”

“Like the other reviewers.don't let the size fool you.this little bird is a rocketship!!!goes were you point it.I added the landing gear for ground handling my club has a 400 FT asphalt runway so the gear is a must.I use the 2200 2 cell it calls for 30 to 40C all the way forward puts the CG spot on.anoher great bird from the Motion Guys!just ordered the Critical Mass Bear Cat on sunday and will be here Thursday,cant wait .keep up the great work Motion(I'LL Be Back)”
“Don't let the 700mm size fool you. This jet is fast and can do just about any tricks the pilot is capable of. Make sure to have plenty of open space to fly. It is a fun jet and would recommend it highly. I have been flying slow flyers and this jet is quite a challenge to keep up with. I am 65 years old and am having a great time with these planes! Just received a Heli yesterday, that's a completely different experience. HAPPY FLYING!!”
