“I have logged 54 flights on it in the last week. It is my 3rd jet, but could be a first jet if you have experience with small fast planes. The build quality is impeccable, a huge step up from the Dynam warbirds I had been buying. Assembly is a no brainer, less than an hour. I toss it in the air underhand at full power, works every time! NO tendency to roll whatsoever. expect to use full up elevator, as it will slowly get up to speed, then release the back pressure. I use around 55 percent throws and 35 percent expo, pretty tame, but the roll rate is still fast. Only need to watch the turns, even when going fast the bottom drops out if you turn to tight. Landing is a bit tricky IMO, to fast and I break the nose off, if I go for a full flare at the end, it will always drop the left wing, and I end up fixing the elevator when or if it cartwheels. I may cut the nose cone off, and attach it with magnets.This thing flies like it's on rails though. Perfect starter jet, now I have the f-22, and an Avanti!!”

“Bought this jet as my first larger edf and it is so much fun. It’s quick but not to fast on 4s it is great and with the 12 blade fan it sounds fantastic. It’s a very stable flyer. It tracked straight through the sky. I would buy another one in a second. Unfortunately I had a brown out about 20ft off the ground and it went in nose first. How ever it proved to be a strong plane and with some steam and hot water I was able to straighten things out and glue it back together and get it back in flying shape again. The plane and motion rc are top notch.”

“Mine died on the maiden. It would barely stay in the air. When it came down in the grass the nose ripped off and the fuse split in half. And it didn't go straight in, I was shocked at the damage. The fit and finish seemed nice, but it was a pig to fly. I've been flying rc for 27 years so it's not a nooby review. I think with the 4S this could be a good airplane. I see all the good reviews here, I think the $30 extra for the 4S would be well worth it.”
“I ordered my second Stinger. Wow, what fun for the price. This assembly I had trouble with the the rear 2 screws that attach the tail to the fuse. They were very hard to screw into the fuse so they broke and loosened the female plastic parts they are in the fuse. I don't recall this happening with my first Stinger assembly. Be careful putting them in. Perhaps drill them out or make sure the hole isn't plugged with plastic or that it's not out of round and use silicon or lubricating oil to assist. I called Matt at Motion and the order was in for a replacement fuse the same day. i order a lot from Motion because their customer service is always fantastic. I really appreciate that!”
