Once I figured out how to reliably launch this aircraft I have been having a lot of fun with it. Very easy to set up out of the box. Remarkably easy and fun to fly and it performs very well. Once I wear this one out, I am sure I will order another or upgrade to the 4S version.

I just received the Stinger 3S version and it looks amazing. I cannot wait to get this in the air. All the pieces are perfectly formed and straight. It should go together very easily. This is my second 64mm EDF belly landing jet and I love these things. We don't have a paved runway at our flying field so these make life much easier. I think I will be the only one flying jets at our field this year. These Freewing EDF jets are a great value for the money and the quality is amazing! Thanks MotionRC!

Flies great!! My first non UMX EDF jet. Landings are easy and flies like it is on rails...

I ordered the Stinger to get familiar with EDFs. I'm going to get the Avanti next. The Stinger is easy to assemble and a lot of fun to fly.

Great flying EDF jet but needs more power for hand launch. Hand launched it at full throttle, over arm launch, it struggled to stay in the air. Rec. getting 4S setup.

Just picked up this little jet from Motion RC and built it in about 30 minutes. Most time consuming task is fishing the servo wires to the RX through the fuselage. Upon opening the box the right side of the fuselage pin striping was missing about 1 strip and the right wing had a couple holes in it. I contacted MRC and let them know so hopefully QA will rectify those out of spec issues. Took it to the field tonight to maiden it with a 3s 2200 30C battery. CG was perfect and the little jet flew like it never wanted to come down. Vertical, inverted, knife edge anything you ask, it does. All the reviews were right; this is a great purchase and I hope to enjoy it for many more flights.

First off Wayne, just took care of something for me that was an unbelievable act of customer service a couple days ago. Tom, Wayne, thank you so much....I also wanted to say something here to the complainers out there. Guys we are so lucky to have the customer service reps that work at Motion. Matt, Michael, Brad, Wayne, Marvin, Alpha, Aenos, and I apologize if I forgot someone , it's always fun talking to you guys and a huge thank you for all of your help. If everyone out there would give these people the respect they deserve and if you have a problem document it, with pictures if possible, and try to explain whats going on without talking down to them you will always be taken care of. Can any of us imagine doing their job???? I don't want any of them to quit so be nice.....I got the Stinger a couple of months ago and forgot to write a review..... I have the 3S plane but put one of my Wicked 64mm 4S EDF units in this running a Hiteck 50 amp ESC and Admiral Pro 2200's. Same old story...Freewing plane, Motion's service, it's a blast to fly. I didn't get the landing gear at first and it is easy to hand toss but with the gear it is even more fun. Just fly it to the ground , don't dead stick it in. The radio and ESC are a tight fit but no big deal and there is a modification out there where you cut the top hatch off, add some more magnets and access is really easy. The book CG is right on and it flies great, 80-100 mph and you won't notice any performance loss with the gear. I am sure the 3S system is ok but if you can get the 4S and can handle the speed do that!! Just a fun plane fast or slow and the landing gear keeps it looking great.

Range check, CG check, fail safe check, taxi check complete. ~6mph wind down the runway. Rotated after about 60' of gradual throttle. Climbed to three mistakes high while trimming. It was a handful but got safely on the ground with a nice three point landing. Got some tweaking to do.She has a lot of potential!!!
