This jet is a steal for 98$, the construction and quality is miles ahead of other edf jets in this price range. The air frame really maximizes the 3S power plant and is actually pretty fast compared to other 3s jets, it is also rock solid stable. I flew it in 15 mph winds and it wasn't even noticeable. Hand launching is easy, I hold it behind the wings but place my fingers under the fuselage towards the wings. Hard to explain but try it maybe you'll see where I'm coming from. Giving it a nice toss and it flies straight out of my hand with no issue. Landing is just as easy, line up and cut power, she will glide right in no problem. Aerobatics are easily possible and the rudder has a ton of authority to keep the nose up in some deep bank turns.Really don't have any complaints about this one, it is a stellar package. The roll rates can be extremely fast, I used 55% expo all the way across and put my Ailerons at 55% throw, elevator at 85% and rudder at 70% which is plenty.

This was my first edf jet. Well, still is. It is alive and kicking! This jet is awesome out of the box, I prefer to use 2200 mah 3s 35c batteries, and I get flight times of 4 minutes no problem. The quality and paint scheme are unbelievably very good for the price point of this aircraft. I love the way it lands, and will keep it a belly lander but I am going to upgrade to the 12 blade fan. add some wing tip skids and one larger skid on the belly with some chrome duct tape stripping on the bottom of the wings and belly. It looks cool. Get this jet, you wont be disappointed!!

I'm back again with another review of this plane. Very bouncy landing gear. If you don't touch down feather light, it will bounce and quickly turn into porpoising if you don't add power. After enough of these porpoise landings, the nose gear finally snapped off. Also, the vertical stab snapped off after a nose over. (Go easy on the NWS on the ground) Turns out it is only held on by a 1 inch piece of foam. I put some CA around the whole stab and if it comes off again, i'll probably need a new plane. LOL. Other than that, the plane is quite under powered. I may eventually use a 4S battery to give it a little boost, if I can find the right size for it.I upped my rating to 4 stars because I do really like flying this plane despite it's weaknesses.

I will start this by saying Motion RC is the best! I ordered the wheel upgrade kit on a Sunday night for my stinger, it's now monday midday, and I just recieved the email that it has been shipped. It will be here Wednsday so I can install them and go to a local FUNFLY on Saturday. THANX A MIL MOTION! Paul B.

I have had about 15-20 flights on this plane now. This was my first EDF, and I can safely say that they may not be for me. I fly at an old run down airport with cracking asphalt, so flying this as a belly lander is impractical. Nevertheless, I attempted to belly land a few times until the skid pads were completely worn down. Then I installed the landing gear, which comes with a 09arate servo for NWS (which means you need a Y connector, (not included)). The gear works as it should, but the Nose wheel is super weak, and a poor landing will result in a bent up wheel support. This happened to me about 5 09arate times. I keep bending it back into place, so eventually it will snap (but thankfully not yet.) Landing gear adds a considerable amount of drag so make sure to trip up a bit before flight. The 3s version of this plane seems to be lacking quite a bit in thrust. I would highly recommend starting with the 4s. With the landing gear installed, it would take around 80-150 feet to gain enough speed to rotate, and the landing rollout was at least twice that. Hope you have a long runway. This plane is probably best suited for hand launches and landing on a grass field. With the exception of the Vertical Stabilizer, this plane is surprisingly durable. I had a couple pretty bad crashes, and all I had to do was glue the nose cone and Vertical Stab back on and it was R2F.My setup was: Tx Spektrum DX7, Rx Spektrum AR400, Bat 3s 2200mAh, landing gear.
