“I bought the Freewing F-22 to compliment my 3S FMS F-35. while the Freewing gets off the grass faster, I still managed to break 2 of 3 landing gear coming down. In the air, make sure your 4S pack has at least 50C, because it feels anemic with anything less. On a strong battery pack, I get vertical, good inverted and amazing rolls. I just can't understand why they didn't go for a higher strength landing gear. The plastic bits flew right off, and the the nose gear was quick to bend on a pretty good landing. In contrast, the FMS F-35 stuggles to get up on 3S, but has no problem at all coming down on grass.”

“Landing gear are terrible. I fly off a grass field and on the 2nd landing, the front gear bent and the left gear popped off, the plastics on the gear legs were broken off by the 5th flight. I haven’t tried a hand launch yet but plan to soon. This could be such a cool jet if it had more power. Feels like it’s going to stall in steep turns. Flying on admiral 4s 2200 45c pack.”
