“This was my second edf jet after the Freewing 64mm F22 and it is awesome! Very nice scale details/ features and I really like that it has full flying stabilizers. Assembly is easy and does involve some gluing. It flies very well fast or slow. This jet has helped me learn how to fly in high alpha and perform slower landings with an edf jet. I have many many flights on this thing and it is still going strong. Flight times with a 2200mah 4s are up to about 4 minutes with good throttle management (start with 3:00 to 3:30 to be safe). Out of the box it has an excellent power to weight ratio (this is the high performance version with the 3300kv motor) but I eventually upgraded the power system to the Freewing 2500kv 6s 64mm fan with a 60amp ESC and it is insane. With a SMC 2400mah LiHv 6s battery it weighs in at 1200g and makes about 1900g of thrust (foam carving is required for the larger fan housing). I don't know how fast it goes but if I had to guess, it's well over 100mph with this power system. Flight time with the 6s system is still about 3:30. Whether you are running this with the stock 4s power or a 6s system, I can really recommend this jet. In my opinion, it is a great plane for someone wanting to learn the ways of edf fighter jets. Thanks to Motion RC and Freewing for offering another awesome edf jet! Keep making more 64mm edf jets with full flying stabs!”

“Great for cheap jet thrills. But main landing gear is very weak. With less than perfect landings, plastic gear base easily unglues from the foam, and the metal arm bends.”

“First thing I did was install rudders. Took it out in 3-5mph winds to maiden. Thing was blowing all over and flew like a butterfly. Way too light and way underpowered. I had to turn into a head wind to bring it in, and it literally stopped and floated like a Harrier jet, no power. I had to sit it down in the desert. Changed the CG a bit, put it up for a second flight, same thing. Bent the nose a bit. Brought it home and went to 6s with a 2200 battery. Went back out and it took the wind on, flew way more stable, and obviously had the power to take the wind on a head on. I wouldn't buy it again unless you have a 6s sitting around to toss in it. Otherwise not worth the money. Just buy a Vulcan or Banshee instead.”
