“It is a very nice looking jet, good quality except the wheels because they weak and do bend easily but other than that, it great. Flying it isn't easy as I thought it was, I flown a lot of 4s and 6s jets but this one is the hardest 4s jet I ever flown but don't get cut off. It has plenty of power, it quick, and it fun. Just keep the throttle on and put your rates down. My rates is Elevator 20% and Ailerons 35%. Expo 40% for both. If you going to hand launch it, unless you got very big hands, get someone to hand launch it for you because the fuselage is that thick, it very difficult to hand launch it by yourself.”

“This is a fun little plane to fly. It’s underpowered on 4S, control surfaces are very sensitive so lots of expo and the main landing gear mount points are weak.I took off the gear and belly land it in the grass now. It sounds really good and presents well in the air. For landing it settles in really nice and flares well.”

“I’m really happy with this bird! It took a little getting used to since this is my first edf but I’m already looking at a 70mm or maybe an 80mm edf jet! I think I’m hooked on the Edf bug!! There is like 6or7 of these at the flying field and most fly without the gear, as they say it does fly better without but so far I’ve kept the gear on! I like being able to take off and land with the gear on.. well worth the money!!”

“I just maidened my f18 on a 4s 2200 35c battery best looking jet for the price. It Flys really well but could use more power so I really recomend a battery with a higher discharge rate. Landing was a breeze you can completely dead stick and it will just kiss the ground. For the price you will never find anything else like it”

“Really fun plane for the money. Straight line speeds are impressive and it handles well but has really bad vertical performance. Get it going as fast as you want and pull up, it stalls out QUICK. Which to a degree is to be expected on the this scale edf jet. For the money it’s a great plane to have in the hangar. Has respectable lift for how little the wings are, so landings are a breeze. I had it set up with AS3X and it really doesn’t need it. Very stable for what it is. Just be careful with that up elevator! That being said I don’t regret buying the plane but I wouldn’t even consider the 3s version .”
“This plane flies very well, flight time with Admiral 2200 35 C is 3 minutes 30 seconds with mixed throttle. Check out motion RC recent YouTube video for building instructions and flight review good info there. When setting your elevator don't pay attention to the Navy decals as mine were in a different position than others, go by the joint seam of the foam. if you're going to hand launch and belly land be sure to reinsert front steering servo with plastic cover + move battery all the way forward for proper CG.”
