“Just put the first flights on my F8 and have to admit, it flies very smooth and stable. Used the factory control setup and a 1800 3s Graphene I had laying around. About 1/2 nose heavy with that big battery, but still handled it. The scale detail is amazing, good enough it could be a display model. Thanks FreeWing and Motion!”
“I tried unsuccessfully to hand launch this beauty using a 1300 mAh 3S 30C battery with not enough power to keep it in the air. I purchased theoptional landing gear and will try tomorrow to see if I can generateenough speed before take-off to get it airborne and keep it up.”
“so far I haven't been able to get it balanced without adding much weight. The batteries I have been trying to use were 1000 to 2100 mAH. weight of the batteries span from 102 to 1 76 g.Open for suggestions”
“Nice model - loved the quality and price. Decent customer service - a live person talked with me several times. The issue is the promised delivery before Christmas - I knew the questions to ask when ordering: is this in stock?, did it come in the recent container?, etc. and was assured it was. Without seeing the jet near Christmas and no tracking info, I called and was told the jet actually was not in stock. Hmmm.... Yet, about a week later, it shipped, but arrived after Christmas. I'm not sure what went on, but this is why only four stars. Thanks for listening.”
