Great little plane. Flying it on low rates til I get use to it. Unlimited verticals climbs. Added some “Invasion stripes” for better visibility. Using a 1600 mah battery, I landed after 3 or 4 minutes and still had 64% left in the battery. I think the next jet you should do is the Douglas Sky Ray. I think Lippisch was instrumental in its design.

Great first wing or EDF! Just remember to include up trim and toss it at a 45 degree angle, she likes to dive on launch. If you're removing the canopy, score the paint around the base first!

I was thinking about getting one until a couple friends flew the P-15, SOLD, lot of **** for the buck... It is really hard to believe you get around 90mph out of a 2200mah 3s pack and fly for almost 5 minutes. I use a launch mode on my gear switch which puts 15% up elevator and she climbs out perfectly. A little twitchy at first until you get used to it, I fly around 45 % throws on DR and 50% expo.Revo graphene 40c 2200 91mph with rc speedo app. consistently. With the wind and a big dive of course.... Not many prop planes can hit that speed and for under a hundred bucks. My only problem is the glue (contact cement or foam tac) it alligators the surface anywhere within a 1/2 of where the glue was applied. I guess use the glue very sparingly...

I really like this jet! It goes fast! Be sure to dial in about 2 degrees up elevator before launching for a smooth launch. I painted the underbelly yellow for easier visibility. For the price you cannot beat this fun jet.

Haven't flown it yet. I had a heart attack while I was working on it...No, really! No reflection on the plane. It went together great. I didn't like the lime green camo so I repainted it to a duller camo. I'm setting the rates really low so my heart can take flying the thing! Doc

My favorite sub $100 fan powered model. Very easy build, very clean work on the ducting ..meaning tiny cheater holes. Slows down very nicely and fun on the slope too as a result. I get long flights due to its clean lines and efficiency compared to my F86 and F9F. I'm used to hot/high rate flying and this bird can be a lot to handle so be prepared. It doesn't have any bad habits it's just highly responsive. I set it up with their low rates and it still rolls at drill bit speeds. Plenty hot for me with low throws. Easy to launch with all the wing area, give it half throttle and a good toss and you're up. But be ready.. This thing is blindingly fast. They claim 100mph and it must be at least close to that. At full throttle you'd better be thinking two turns ahead of it, because it's already there. Very good vertical performance and throttle response, it has the least lag/spool up of my three fan birds. When you punch it, it moves NOW. It flies fine with a 2200 3s but I picked up a 1600 for it and like that better. Feels more nimble and slows down better with less wing loading. Don't worry about the ****** speed at the high end, it slows down fine even with the 2200. I slope it too so I wanted more speed range by lowering the low end. This model is an ideal scale subject for a fan with few apparent compromises in plan form from the old drawings. The wing root intakes and well done internal ducting to the fan result in the most effective and responsive fan powered model I've seen yet. I love this bird. I love it so much I ordered another when I got home after I stuffed my first one on the slope. I guarantee anyone who hasn't seen one will say holy **** after your first full throttle flyby, or while you're rolling in a blur while climbing straight up. Great kit, great price, total home run. 2 minute build with a couple hours while glue dries. Thank you lippisch and thank you freewing, and god bless capitalism! Now I want a twin 64mm Horten 229! Hint hint :)My difficulty rating is due solely to the full throttle speed and responsivess. This is not a beginner plane. If you are not experienced enough to stay ahead of this rocket in your head, you *will* stuff it.

I have only ever flown small UMX props- P-47, P-3 Revolution, Sport Cub S, Hobbyzone Champ. I picked the P.15 up once I found it in stock, and I found it to be the most enjoyable plane I have ever flown. It is extremely easy to hand launch, just full throttle and a solid toss, and off into the sky it goes. The P.15 is very highly maneuverable and super fast. I clocked it at 65 mph in level flight with a Zippy Compact 1500 mAh 40c battery. The only challenge is landing because of how far it glides. If you're on the fence you should definitely buy a P.15
