“DO NOT try to fly with factory settings ! I had to set my aileron throws down to 35% on travel with 40% expo on low rates just to fly the plane ! High rates I set at 55% travel with 40% expo ! Results were amazing ! This plane is a rocket ! Using the Spektrum As3x system, it's a pleasure to fly !”

“This is a pretty little airplane which is fairly small and tight. There were some initial build issues which prevented the 5 star review. The ESC was not tied-down and it was into the front of the EDF fan blades when unboxed. One side of the upper vertical stabilizer clamp was not glued to the fuselage side and needed a bit of epoxy and holding in place. All were easily fixed but one has to watch for these things. Altogether happy with the airplane, my other Freewing models didn't have any issues upon unboxing and Motion has provided great support when needed.”

“My first fly was epic pure hell After that I reduce throw on ailerons to 5 mm up/down Now it’s my favourite little jet with 10% gyro and only 5 for fast pass When you tame this Mirage you look good .. high Alfa pass crazy manoeuvre etc Land like a charm I have a big turbine one I will be so happy to be able to do the same Well done Motion My only critique : not about the plane , but why freewing don’t reinforce the plane at critical place like E-Flite ?”

“A nice simple jet.very quick.nice finish.Ive got four flights on it and I just cant get the handling where I like it.But it is easy to land,like a delta but i think its gonna need a stabilizer.I prefer to get planes flying right first,,then decide on a stabilizer,but it seems to need aileron trim every flight???Im sure Ill be able to work it out but still a little scary at this point.”

“Kit arrived 2 days early! TY MRC. Assembly was easy as usual. First problem was the Rt retract didn't work properly. hit and miss if it wanted to work. 2nd, the nose gear did the same thing. After taking gear back out I got them to work. 3rd, the plastic panels that go over the main retracts are not trimmed to fit. The springs on gear ripped them right off after extending the gear. Had to trim to fit and re glue. The rest of the set up was fine. MAIDEN, What a MESS! Setup per manual and what others tried. If that wasn't enough, The nose gear door keeps closing before the gear goes up. Spring did not keep door open. Air pushes it up. After several attempts to get nose up I had to land. Nose gear COLLAPSED. Retract BAD!! Had to replace retract and cut out the shape of nose gear in door and glue it on like I had to do with my F-5. Lousy design on gear door. After all the repairs and a re maiden I finally got it to fly nice. Lots of power!! CG at 520mm w/ 4500ma battery. Set up per a you tube video and the thing flies great. I had all the spare parts for the gear from other jets and did not contact Motion for parts. After All, They Don't assemble these kits. Motion Rc 5 stars. Kit 3 stars for bad quality parts.”
