“I enjoyed the original Mirage so much, that after 250+ flights I've decided to buy another Mirage with updated electronics. The new in-runner and 9-blade fan is a significant upgrade over the original version and it is well worth the price. Not a fan of the new Tiger Meet scheme. I painted over it and made it into a desert Mirage. Hope MRC can bring back the original Mirage with the blue camo.”

“I love this plane, but after receiving the new Tiger scheme version I was disappointed to see the terrible decal work they did on it. : / Misaligned, bubbles everywhere, and just gaudy. I wish they'd just keep it in the basic camo version and include the tiger decals in the box if anyone wanted to use them. That'd be MUCH easier and flexible for the customer. I had to paint over this scheme to get it looking right.”

“I bought one and building her, as the tail cone left the EDF so exposed I thought: she needs an afterburner light, so, I built one.Then, as you have put electronics in her why dont make a 3D printed cockpit and put lights on it, so I printed, painted, put a lot of LEDs and fiber optics and so on.With the 3D printed cockpit looks awesome (note that my cockpit is not the original as I make more holes to the indicators with blender, also I put a seat that doesn'' correspond to the mirage as I could not find the correct one but looks great).I had a lot of happy hours building it and enjoying the cockpit customization.Next step: Maiden”

“The kit was with wrong plastic fins that are not the as described on the manual (I already cut my self ones based on the videos). Missing a carbon tube on one wing to receive the carbon rod (I solve the problem my self, by glueing some thing to receive the rod ). One decal was not well glued.”

“I'm now flying my 2nd one after wearing out the first after a couple of hundred flights! I just ordered a 3rd Mirage for when I wear out the 2nd. With a 6S 4000 mAh pack I'm getting 120 mph consistently as measured with an onboard GPS unit....this at our field elevation of 5230'. Great airplane, you have to be careful to keep it in close at high speed. Landings are easy as it does not tip stall and it's quite easy to scrape the tail if alpha is too high. Aileron rates must be kept WAY below what the manual suggests...I use maybe 1/4 each way with 70% expo and it still rolls like a drill bit. This is one hot airplane and needs to be flown accordingly.”

“I got this for my Birthday/Christmas from my wife and kids. The finish was pretty much perfect, typical Freewing quality. Easy to assemble and as usual when I set it up, I used the book low rates for the ailerons and the high rates for the elevator. this seems to be a good compromise on pretty much all freewing planes, and I have a lot of them! I removed the edf unit so that I could run the numbers on it, I posted them under the unit's customer reviews. Let it suffice to say that this little 9 blade inrunner makes the same power as the 12 blade inrunner 80mm unit! I did install a gyro because I noticed the deltas wing rock quite a bit in high alpha. This definitely cured that problem. It flies straight as an arrow. It really rips and it looks amazing in the air. Easy to land, just bring it in kind of fast and start bringing the nose up, this will slow it right down and it will settle in on the runway. I fly off of asphalt so I can't say how it performs off of grass. I gave it only ok on value because, come on, there are only 4 servos and 3 control surfaces. It is a very simple plane; they should cut us a break for that reason alone! I love it, wish I had bought one sooner!”
