“The Freewing T33 is a lot of fun to fly. It was my first EDF when I transitioned to jets and it hasn't disappointed me. I would recommend this aircraft as a great beginning EDF. While it does take setting it up, once you get it dialed in, it fly's stable and smooth. It tends to float, so come out of the throttle early on approach, or you will be touching down way down the runway. I liked it so much, I bought two.”

“This jet flies great! I use an FRSKY stabilized receiver and it flies like it's on rails. It has decent power but grass landings and takeoffs are difficult. The field I fly off of is currently about 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" tall and very healthy/thick. I've broken the nose gear pin several times, due to grass landings. If you touch down on mains first instead of a three point landing, the pin is likely going to break, as the nose gear comes down harder due to the braking action of the grass. My landings are actually very slow and gentle. The takeoffs are also much longer runs with this grass due to the added rolling resistance. The grass strip is 600' long and sometimes it just barely lifts off before the end of the runway. I suppose different types of grasses in other areas of the country might not be so bad. Also, if the nose gear came down towards the rear, like the Avanti, then I could put a 3D printed brace behind the gear to keep the pin from breaking. If you have a hard, smooth surface to fly from, I would recommend this jet for some nice scale jet flying.”

“Really love the T33 jet. It arrived in good condition, well packed and secure. It went together quickly and looked great. First flight was awesome. I did not have to touch the trims. This is an easy flying jet with no unwanted surprises. Fight time is 3.5 minutes with a 5000 mah pack”
