“This airplane flies on rails, take off is super easy as landings are with full flaps. It offers a spectacular sight up there, it is also very fast and quite aerobatic. Very easy to put together in a short time, being very well built. I use a very hi-c 6s - 6000 battery, I think it is needed for a 4 mins flight at high power. The recommended CG is correct.”

“The damn paint flakes off around the battery tray door and then unit has gator skin out the box. Other then epo struggles unit is easy to build and predictable flyer. Just remember speed is everything. She will fall out the air if you combine not scale maneuvers with low throttle.”

“The kit arrived with zero damage. Construction was completed without serious problem. However, the instructions are at best very minimal and could be improved. I was disappointed to not find any recommendation for setting the control surfaces, a check on Hobby squawk also did not yield any throw recommendations. I decided to use the setting from a like FW jet. I used the control settings for the FW T-33. Flying was a pleasure with little to no problems. I did set the ailerons with the low rate setting for the T-33. Battery (5K) located all the way forward. The wiring for this plane desperately needs some up-dating, it is a mess of wires. The wing attachment is via four sheet metal screws, I feel a better option would be machine screw threading into metal vs plastic. The joiner carbon tubes are very sloppy in the wing and slide from side to side when the wing is together. Aside from the above recommendations the plane is fun to fly, agile, responsive and has a good visual presentation. I would purchase this FW model again”

“The plane flies well and the sound of the ducted fans is great. Unfortunately I only have a dozen flights on the plane because the nose gear pin breaks after 3 flights or so. Every single landing was flaired on the mains before the nose gear touches. Once it broke taking off on geotext. What good is this aircraft is you continue have to buy (if you can get them) parts and pull the nose gear out to replace the part. If they would take the plane back, I'd gladly return it. Case harden the part, not through harden them!”

“I bought this jet 2 years ago and what could i say: I love this jet. It flies very stable,has a lot of power and is easy to start and land. I fly it with a multiplex wing stabi on aileron/rudder because of nicer flying at windy conditions. But the construction of the plane has some weak spots.The pins of the landing gears and the unstable nose. So i strengthen the nose by glueing a plywood frame in the landing gear bay and battery tray. This is better because the nose could break while starting/landing on grass. Also a weak point is the short flight time. I use 5000 and 6200 Lipos and the flight time is only 3-4 minutes (Takeoff on grass)”

“I am very pleased with this plane. It may be the favorite in my warbird collection. She looks great on the ground and in the air. The flyby sounds freekin awesome!!! Clocked her at 108 mph. “Easy assembly; excellent scale look; outstaning camp pattern, and most of all a fantastic flyer. Easy to take off and to land. It gets around 100 mph but has tremendous static thrust - an up line at full speed disappears very quickly in the sky. It’s not unlimited vertical but the thrust is exceptional. Outstanding plane all around!”
