“Nice EDF , not as fast as I hoped for but with Hobby eagle gyro flys very stable. Great maiden , need up on elevator with flaps. Steering was not to tight on slow taxi back from landing and it egded off runway by a foot and hit a prairiedog hole and whole nose suprizingly broke off 6 inches back from nose with gear. Glued it back and flew again next day and another pefect landing this time retract collapsed 45% and it had no sterring running off runway at a higher speed and nosegear cover came off and one of the little springs which holds door to gear was gone . Nose retract didnt work on 2 trys but worked on 3rd and seems soliid now. I'm ordering a new retract cause I don't trust the current one. Still recommend this Me 262.”

“Just started to get into jets. After a 70mm trainings jet, I jumped up to this model as I always admired the ME 262. Assembly is quick and easy, although I recommend watching Youtube videos for some noteworthy tips. The model flies great and looks incredible in the air. With a little jet experience, she is easy to fly as long as you keep up the speed. I had a couple of wingtip stalls when I got lazy and banked to hard at slow speed - fortunately high enough to recover. The radar gun shows her hitting around 100 mph flying a 6S 6000mAh battery. This is now my favorite plane. I got a lot of compliments at the flying field.”

“Leider war die eine Hälfte der Tragfläche am äußeren Ende gestaucht. Ist wohl zu stark in die Verpackung gedrückt worden und saß hier unter Spannung drin. Sieht nicht so schön aus und ließ sich auch nicht beheben. Ich wollte aber wegen dem kleinen Schaden nicht das ganze Modell wieder zurück schicken.”

“This model flies fantastic, sounds are excellent as well. I 3D printed the nose braces at 100 percent infill, stl file found on Thingiverse.com, and that made the nose much more rigid. Just search 262 on the site. Big plus if you have one of those landings! Definitely add them for the larger battery if you have access to a 3D printer. It also looks very realistic in the air, very important to many modelers who enjoy the historic and scale aspect of the hobby. I have only flown the 262 using a 4000mah battery, and the performance is nice. 3.5 minute flight using mixed throttle flying. I love the Freewing 262 so much, I want to buy a second one in case the WORST happens! I will note the over rotation on take off, and to definitely bring the power up slowly during the takeoff roll to avoid this using the lighter battery. The thrust tends to pitch the nose up and over rotate the model, which can lead to a nasty stall if allowed to continue that pitch angle increase on climb out. I definitely recommend this model!”
