I put 20 flights on my new FW Me-262 the first time out and another 20 flights a week later and it's still going strong with no issues. I split the difference between the fore and aft CG recommended locations for the first couple of flights which provided stable all-around flights from a well-manicured grass field (polo field). After getting the flap settings dialed in, I established a new CG location a few more millimeters aft than the recommended aft point to arrive at my own personal sweet spot. This jet not only flies scale beautifully but it's also fully aerobatic capable of repetitive huge loops, 4 point, slow and barrel rolls, cuban eights, avalanches and even sustained knife edge flight. I fly mine on 6S 6000 and 6200 mah packs placed at the most aft location in the battery compartment. At this location, my 262 rises off the ground on its own with 8-10 degrees of flap and very little backstick. The upside of this CG placement makes for relatively steep descents using full flaps without unduly increasing air speed culminating in slow, soft slow gentle nose up landings. The downside is this jet will tip stall on takeoff if one's not being delicate enough on the sticks at this CG placement, so I'm not recommending it unless one is also a 3D capable pilot, more or less, or else practiced at flying planes with a mostly neutral CG location. Only downside to my kit was a couple of things, including the battery tray, were inadequately spot glued causing the parts to fall out into my hands when I was unpacking the plane. Very easy fix however and I'm glad I learned about the NEG issue (not enough glue) sooner rather than later. I only get 3 minutes and change from my packs the way I fly, but one can stretch it a little longer by just cruising around at half stick which is still remarkably fast. Bottom line is I'm a big fan of this jet and very pleased with my purchase.

Yet to assemble and fly but initial impressions are very good. Finish is beautiful with superb decals and camouflage. Model was packaged very well with no signs of damage. A good effort, but will replace the pilot and nose wheel for better scale appearance and have added swastikas to the tail fin.Altogether excellent. Thank you MOTIONRC.

Nice plane, does have a tendency to tip stall. Motors extremely powerful.Fortunately I looked at some videos and was less surprised by the nose up takeoff.Definitely need to hold down until the plane gets up to speed and do not use flaps for the takeoff! I fly at 5,000 feet so the tip stalls might be associated more with that but overall it is a very nice plane.
