“I just finished assembling and calibrating this very nice model from MRC and Freewing.Weather here is still too nasty to fly so I will append this review after I get it in the air.The fit, finish, and detail on this kit are excellent and it went together nicely except for one item which could have been disaster if not caught.I always like to test all of the operational components before I assemble. That way, if there is an issue, I can address it quickly and remedy it. In this case, the port EDF was wired backwards, causing the thrust to emit from the front of the engine pod. No biggie but, for the price of this model and Freewing's reputation, I expected better quality control. A simple wire swap and I was back in business.This will fly like the rest of my warbirds with a Spektrum AR637T rx with switchable AS3X and SAFE. Also, I use a serial satellite whenever I can. Sort of a belt and suspenders approach. With an investment like this, why not?Looking forward to the weather breaking as our club is installing a 30 x 300' Geotex runway this spring and it will be perfect for this model's maiden.Stay tuned for the flight review.Cheers”

“Goes together very well and has quality finish. Very easy to fly and land. On one of my landings I bent the nosegear pin. Trying to replace the pin I could not screw out the threaded set screw because it was so tight with thread lock that the set screw head stripped. They should not use permanent thread lock. I had to order the entire strut. Other than that I do recommend this jet.”

“If you’re a fan of warbirds, this is a must have! Beautiful in the air, awesome sound and flies on rails. Handles well on grass take offs and landings. One downside. The nose gear. Replace the nose wheel rod with a 4mm steel rod and you’re in for many landings with no worries.”

“Easy built with some old time technology,haven said that goes together fast. Found good quality control on this product. Haven’t flown it yet as we get lots of strong winds lately,and waiting for the field to get a good mowing. This is one plane you want to have in your stable of warbirds.”
