“In my opinion this is the best Freewing Jet that I have owned. There were a couple of issues with hardware (wrong screws and servos arms mounted off center) but those were easily overcome.I maidened the aircraft today and it was an absolute joy to fly, it certainly looked realistic and was definitely not a speed demon but it was easy to control on low rates. At landing, the flaps slowed the plane substanially and it basically floated in at a relatively slow speed. I have not swept the wings back yet but will definitely do so on the next flight.Overall this is a great aircraft for the price and I am really happy that I purchased it.”

Love electronic control box that all the aircraft wiring plugs into with simple output leads to my receiver. Motion customer service and support is outstanding. My jet came with two RH stabs, Motion had the correct stab at my house in two days. That made the price to play worth every penny.”

“I recently completed a custom build on my Starmax twin 70mm Jolley Roger F-14 kit and have flown that plane several times, but when my flying buddy told me MotionRC had just posted a Freewing F-14 to its website for pre-order, I immediately pre-ordered one the first day the plane was listed on the website!! I received my plane about a week ago and I finished the build yesterday, after several hours.The Freewing F-14 is by far the most superior F-14 foam jet that anyone can currently purchase and I am delighted about having this one in my fleet! The landing gear, lights, swing wing mechaism, ball links, and overall quality and detail in general of the plane, is excellent. I did have a time with the install on my rudders in trying to get the wiring to the lights situated in the right place before screwing down the rudders (I had to shave out a little foam to get the wires to fit right, but no big deal), and I agree with the comment about the turtle 12k not fitting absolutely perfectly, but I fixed the issue by shaving just a little bit of foam that was rubbing on the wing, with a brand new x-acto knife. Problem fixed and the 12k fits much better. I ordered the matching weapons pylon set and was slightly disappointed in that the fins on some of the missiles were significantly off center and I was hoping that the missiles themselves would be a lightweight plastic and of better quality, but I would probably buy them again to have the set for the eye candy factor.If you want the best foam F-14 on the market, you need to get one of these edf jets!! Your friends will be highly impressed and you won't regret getting this plane. It is a work of art when you really think about what you're getting for the money. All I can say is that after watching just about every YouTube video out there on the Freewing F-14 and having already flown my Starmax F-14, I can't wait to get this MotionRC bird in the air!
