Beautiful flying jet. Fast axial rolls, excellent vertical climbing power, easy to achieve a more aft cg without modification for all the cool maneuvers. Highly recommended! My favorite edf by far.

The model came with no damage, everything functions properly, & didn't have to re-glue anything. The new power system is so much better! One upgrade everyone should do is the JP brake system with soft tires. It works fantastic. One small thing: The screws to hold the stabs on should be replaced with PM 2.5 Set Screws

After more than a month(most of that looking for a proper battery solution) I finally got to fly her. Made my 2(4s 3000 60c) get a workout in 20 degrees F. 3500g ready to rock with 5700g of thrust. Cobras, bells, inverted high alpha, this thing will do it all. Maiden went off without a hitch, and her power was on full display. Don’t think I ever needed more than 60% throttle. She’s fast, but she’s also really controllable and gives you a lot of confidence because of her air authority. You can slow fly at around 30 mph before she stalls and she gives you miles of warning before she does. This is the best flying foam jet on the planet. And yes she can be a first jet. It’s my first jet, my first 8s and my first 90mm. I logged a lot of time on the simulator, and went up real careful like, and she just responded. Flies beautifully, gives you ample warning signs, almost flies dead stick, less than $700. What more do you want?

Don’t get me wrong, this is an incredible jet and with the new 4075-1350 she is more powerful than an Xmaxx. But she arrived with minor scuffs and scratches(nothing that can’t be repaired with wood filler) but for $650 I think it should arrive in immaculate condition. Most notably underneath the wing landing gear, on the tips of the vertical stabilizers, and where the front gear door meets the fuselage. My canopy was so off center that i removed it. I’m adding FPV so that isn’t a terrible issue either. I think for $650 it should arrive without any sort of “hangar rash”. I maiden her on 4s 7200 80c which are much larger than the specified cell size, and I had to move the MFC into the nose, but it flew spectacularly, despite not fixing any of the flaws(I even flew her without the canopy). Would I recommend? It depends what you want. Want a fast jet for fpv? Get the Zeus, want a jet that’s perfect out the box? Get an eflite. If you’re in love with the f22 and you aren’t a stranger to working on your aircraft, then buy this. Afterburner, thrust vectoring, dji O3 fpv, and 1400g of battery puts her at 4880g exactly, giving her a T/W ratio of 1.2:1. J- turns thru a digital headset will make you queasy!! For me it’s worth putting $1,000 into a $650 jet, but some people may not agree.

This plane is awesome! The quality of the product and the size itself are actually a bit intimidating. It's beautiful! Once you get it in the air, it handles so well. I see why it's been called a 90mm trainer. I'm still learning a bit of throttle management with the 8s, so I don't eat through the batteries, It's fast and smooth, sounds great, and lands so gently! I've already got a set of lights to install on the wings. My next challenge will be to stop flying long enough to install them!

Big birthday present for me. Imagine how disappointed I was when setting this thing up and the elevator servo was bad. Missed my clubs fly in and still haven’t flown my new jet. Spent $44 on MiG servos for the elevators. Was given an $11 motion gift card for my trouble. I would have given 5 stars if motion had just covered those replacement servos for me.

The 8s has quite a bit of power. So fun to do stunts like the real jet.You can do a slow pass to a climb then hit power and watch it go straight up. Fun fun fun. Also such a beautiful plane.

Already maiden flew it, assembly was very easy. This is a huge upgrade over the Eflite F-18 I had previously. I do wish it came with the series connector to run two batteries for the 8S setup. And I sort of wish the plane didn’t run the blue box however it does work for the time being. The struts seem a bit hard but I hear there is a way to modify that. I’m a freewing guy now, happy to be here!
