“2 things to get out of the way. The cost is a bit much and of course the color. Landings and normal flying can be rough to see at max distance under certain cloudy skies. Could use more lights. Before any flying I modified all of the landing gear as per Stuart at Motion Rc youtube CH using the following video "Freewing F-22 Raptor 90mm 8s EDF jet - Grass Ops". I also added a nose wheel brace that I purchased from Ebay. For me flying at my field these mods are an absolute must. Installed is a Spektrum AR637T Receiver. First two flight went perfectish. I Lost the nose cone due to the bumpy field. The flight without the nose still went perfect 3rd flight on take off the jet rolled left on the ground and smacked upside down on the deck folding the 2 verticals flat to the fuselage and the nose cone area had damage. Using Little bit of Foam Tac glue and were good as new. Pilot error here not the jet. High rates on takeoff for the steering is a no no. I have over 5 Flights (2min 30secs usable throttle) using an Admiral 6s 5000mAh 50c lipo with an Admiral 2s 5000mAh 50c lipo in series with plenty of power to get out of trouble when needed. I also have over 15 Flights (3min usable throttle) using an HRB 6s 5000mAh 50c-100c burst with an HRB 2s 5000mAh 50c-100c burst in series. These Batteries pack a little more punch and make the Raptor that much more fun to fly. This winter and after A High Visual paint mod will make this my go to favorite along with the 80mm Avanti S HP as back up. I hope this helps you with your Raptor and wish you Happy Flying.”

“Was very excited to fly this plane I assembled and measured everything perfectly to what the required specifications are and soon as it took off the ground I noticed something seemed off and before I could do anything about it it awkwardly floated up and curled to the right and then nose dived into the earth...I am an experienced pilot and I'm at a loss of words hoping to have it replaced and leave a better review as I LOVE MOTION RC”

“Have yet to fly my F22 so unable to give a high score to Q4. I reckon the blue switching box is unnecessary because it needs to be removed to get full flexibility of the mixing of elevons and ailerons and flaps which, surely, most of those purchasing this standard of model will want to do. Instead, spend the saving on making those 3 tail pieces removable - then one would be able to disassemble the model for storage in its original box.”
