“Before I explain why I am only giving this beautiful plane only one star I want to say; the plane is gorgeous and flies great, at least for one and a half flights. On the first flight when I deployed my landing flaps the plane rolled hard, so I retracted the flaps and landed thinking I had a bad servo. After checking all the connections I took it up for a second flight. Once again flew great, however when I deployed the flaps this time I was prepared for a roll. Everything was good for about a second and a half and the plane once again rolled. I flipped the flap switch and gave it opposite aileron as I had done the first time. This time instead of leveling off it spun in, in the opposite direction. After recovering the wreck and examining it I discovered that one of the flaps was stuck half way down against the fuselage. After further examination I saw a lot of rub marks on that same side of the fuselage. When one flap sticks half way down there's not much chance of saving it, After contacting Motion who I thought might help me out, which unfortunately they did not. However I do understand, I had the plane on display in my hanger a way past the 30 day warranty period, which at that time I didn't know there was a 30 day warranty period. Anyway, I have now purchased the ARF which admittedly has several upgrades, however when I attached the right wing and checked the flap clearance it was rubbing against the fuselage worse than my original plane. Since I haven't read anything in connection to this problem it leads me to believe that at least some of the problems that customers have had with flap issues were probably not servo related at all.”

“I have had my issues with this Jet and have had two replaced with elevator issues, with that being said, once dialed in, it's an incredible flier and the presence in the sky is awesome. I was offered a different Jet because of the problems I have had, and i said no thanks, I want another F18, so tha tshould tell you all you need to know. Get one.”
