“So, this is my 2nd Flightline aircraft. My first was the F8 Bearcat that crashed on my maiden when it pitched straight up and full down elevator would not correct it. I checked all the usual stuff beforehand...so while it's possible I missed something, it's not likely.The Sea Fury went together fairly well, but the I could not align the left and right flaps in terms of deployment amount. I ended up removing the arm from the servo and replacing it with another one that seemed to be slotted correctly and was able to fix that problem. When I tried to drop the landing gear, one came down, the other didn't. I checked the servo harness connections and tried again...same result. I flipped the airplane over and tried again...it did seem like the gear was trying to deploy but couldn't. I gently pulled on the gear door and after a bit of effort it popped out. Turns out it was assembled when the wheel well paint was still wet and the tire was stuck to the wheel well. Again, problem solved, but seriously? QA anyone?The other issue is CG...using the recommended Admiral 4S 4000mah battery, I was unable to get the CG where the manual recommended. It took several ounces of lead in the nose to get the CG. It now balances correctly, but has a large weight penalty that will affect performance. I may end up cutting some of the foam out to slide the battery forward and remove the weight, but this could be remedied during design/construction.”
“I enjoyed constructing this model. It is well made and accurate to details. I know because as a young boy I saw the real aircraft fly at the RAN Naval Air Station HMAS Albatross. (Nowra, NSW) This aircraft flies very well but I am reluctant to fly it as it looks so good as a static model!!”

“This plane is responsive and quick but very predictable. You will love how it flies and landings are very gentle. I had to add 5oz in the cowl to get my CG correct. Other reviews are using 1.5-4 oz. It handles the weight with no problem. 8-9 min flight time with varying throttle positions on a 4s 4000.”

“The model arrived promptly from Motion RC (EU). The price was less VAT and delivered by Fedex. It went together very well, all parts fitting perfectly. I opted for the upgraded motor and two bladed prop, which were a straight swop. Only a few negatives. The wheels are VERY hard, and I am planning on swopping these for a set of low bounce Dubro wheels. The Lipo strap is way to short. and I purchased a longer version from HobbyKing UK. Even with a 4s 4000 60c lipo, the model comes out tail heavy. It needs at least 3oz of lead in the cowl, so bit of a design issue here. The biggest problem (and the reason I will purchasing future models from UK based retailers), is that Fedex add £12.00 handling costs plus as expected the VAT. This makes the model too expensive. I have yet to fly the model, but based on previous experience I anticipate it will be very good.”

“All is good - finish amongst the best I have seen. However, the blades for the propellor were missing from the box. Luckily I had a three blade propellor and spinner of appropriate size. However, it would be good if you could provide me with the appropriate propellor components.”
